Dreams for Nagasaki

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for staying.

This is a hold piece: be held.

This is a held piece: hold each other.

While you are holding each other, repeat,

“The past is beautiful,

The future is bright;

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for staying.”

We have a scar.

We have a memories of how that scar came to be.

We must remember how that scar healed.

We must look at that scar and say to ourselves,

“The past is beautiful,

The future is bright;

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for staying.”

This is also called a hope piece…

Or, Hope-Peace.

This is an Action, you are a part of.

This is an Action everyone is a part of.

This Action is Love.

You are loved.

You know this because you are here.

Are our dreams here?

Or, are they in Nagasaki?

I invite you to dream with us tonight.

After all, we dream together.

We dream for peace.

We celebrate our dream.

We celebrate each other.

I dream for Nagasaki.

I dream for you.

My dream is a scar.

So I look at it, and I say,

“The past is beautiful,

The future is bright;

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for staying.

This is also called a hope piece:

Hold each other.

While you are holding each other, repeat:

“The past is beautiful,

The future is bright;

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for staying.”

The piece ends when you are ready to be let go.
